Software Engineer Position


Role Summary

This software engineer role involves development and maintenance of Java-based applications.

Responsibilities will include application design, development, and troubleshooting, as well as ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems globally.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java/Springboot development, application health checks, problem resolution, and change activities.

They will also work with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely releases of solutions and adhere to controls and standards.

Additionally, this position requires documentation and diagramming of data flow and process diagrams, as well as conducting training sessions across regions.

Continuous integration and delivery techniques will also be utilized to improve processes.

Working hours are aligned with EST time zone (8am-12pm) with rotational support outside of these hours if required.


Requirements

  • Java 8 and J2EE experience.
  • 3+ years development and design experience.
  • 3+ frameworks like Spring, Spring MVC, Spring boot, Spring Security.
  • Hands-on experience with SSO, MFA, PingFed, OIDC, OAuth, API gateway.
  • 3+ years RESTful API, MQ, Kafka experience.
  • Database knowledge.
  • Development tools and frameworks such as Maven, Jenkins, Gradle, Git, and Nexus.
