Job Title: Senior Solar Project Development Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Solar Project Development Engineer to lead our solar project development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing large-scale solar projects, with a focus on technical feasibility, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including site selection, feasibility studies, permitting, and construction management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Conduct detailed technical analyses, including design calculations, cable sizing, and earthing studies, to optimize project performance and minimize costs.

  • Prepare and review technical specifications, tender documents, and contracts to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

  • Ensure that all projects meet or exceed quality, safety, and environmental standards, and maintain accurate records of project progress and outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solar project development, with a focus on technical leadership and project execution.

  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale solar projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Strong knowledge of solar energy technologies, including photovoltaic systems, inverters, and tracking systems.

  • Excellent communication, project management, and team leadership skills.
