**Actuarial Leadership Role at Chubb**



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Actuarial Manager to join our team at Chubb. As an Actuarial Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects involving actuarial analyses, modeling, and data analysis. You will leverage your comprehensive knowledge and technical skills to provide strategic oversight and mentor team members.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Project Management: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards while tracking the project's progress and adhering to timelines and budget.
  • Actuarial Analysis: Lead other team members to develop and execute complex actuarial analyses, data analysis, and modeling.
  • Modeling Improvement: Identify and implement modeling improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and ensure accuracy in analysis.
  • Team Leadership: Lead project management, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating work and resources effectively.
  • Tool Development: Guide the process of development and implementation of cutting-edge actuarial tools and techniques to optimize processes and procedures.
  • Mentorship: Review documentation and work performed by junior analysts; mentor and manage them; provide strategic oversight and guidance.
  • Collaboration: Liaise and collaborate with other teams to develop innovative solutions and get requisite support, as needed.


Eligibility Criteria:


  • A Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), with a relevant major.
  • 6 to 10 years of work experience in an actuarial/research role.
  • Great actuarial exam progress (qualified/close to qualification) commensurate with the quantum of experience.
  • Strong analytical/quantitative, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with actuarial modeling software and advanced-level programming expertise (R, Python, SQL, Excel).
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including leading projects from end-to-end with a proven track record of successful results.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and/or providing mentorship to junior team members.
