Senior Department Lead

Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the department, overseeing all academic and administrative functions. The role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of faculty members and guide them in research projects and publications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the department.
  • Design and implement curriculum as per University/Regulatory norms.
  • Mentor and develop faculty members.
  • Oversee teaching, assessments, practical training, internships, timetable, and student performance.
  • Facilitate collaborations with media houses, news agencies, PR firms, and digital platforms.
  • Lead departmental documentation, accreditation, and compliance processes.
  • Support student mentoring, counselling, placements, and overall development.
  • Manage departmental resources, labs, studios, budgeting, and infrastructure.
