About the Role

This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data transformation processes using Snowflake. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing complex queries and data transformations using SQL scripting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, and delivering solutions that meet business needs.

  • Data Transformation Expertise: Design and develop data transformation processes using Snowflake, ensuring high-quality and accurate data delivery.
  • SQL Scripting: Implement complex queries and data transformations using SQL scripting, leveraging expertise in data modeling and database administration.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, gather feedback, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub to automate workflows, ensuring seamless integration with data models and transformations.
  • Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions, identifying and resolving issues related to data processes and workflows.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of data governance and security best practices, experience with cloud data warehousing and business intelligence, and proficiency in dbt Cloud and developing data models. You should also be familiar with agile systems like Jira and have experience with CI/CD processes.
