Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Regulatory Intelligence Specialist to support the design and deployment of an AI-driven solution for regulatory horizon scanning.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for continuously monitoring global and regional regulatory bodies for new and updated regulations, consultation papers, and guidance.
  • This role requires building and optimizing AI-enabled pipelines to ingest and process structured and unstructured regulatory publications.
  • A key responsibility will be to automate the classification of regulatory documents using NLP, LLMs, and machine learning to identify topics, obligations, timelines, and impacted regulations.
  • The specialist will extract obligations and key data requirements from regulatory texts, speeches, consultation papers, and technical standards.
  • Key responsibilities also include mapping regulatory changes to the bank's reporting frameworks/reporting solution and internal policies.
Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and experience in working with large datasets. Strong knowledge of NLP, LLMs, and machine learning is required.

  • Strong programming skills in Python or R.
  • Experience in working with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with data warehouses, data lakes/lakehouses, and regulatory reporting systems.
