Sanction and Screening Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our compliance team as a Sanction and Screening Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive sanctions and screening checks on clients and transactions to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
About the Role- Conduct thorough sanctions and screening checks on clients and transactions to identify potential risks and comply with regulatory guidelines.
- Analyze and assess risk based on screening results and compliance standards.
- Maintain and update screening databases and ensure accuracy of records to support informed decision-making.
- Prepare detailed reports on screening findings and escalate potential issues to management for prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to regulations and policies.
- Stay updated on changes in sanctions lists and regulatory requirements to maintain our high standard of compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-6 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of sanctions regulations and screening processes.
- Proficient in using compliance screening software and databases.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
