Responsibilities

Qualifications

A minimum of 1 year's experience is recommended. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, along with certifications and actual work experience, is highly desirable.

Familiarity with software development life cycles and hands-on coding experience are essential.

Coding skills required: C# .NET, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Bonus coding skills: VB .NET, MVC, JQuery, Bootstrap, DNN (DotNetNuke), Crystal Reports, Oracle, SQL Server

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and exposure to AGILE and SCRUM methodologies.
  • An understanding of Object-Oriented Design and design patterns.
  • Problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience writing SQL database scripts using T-SQL or PL/SQL.
  • Recent frontend software development experience in HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Understanding of responsive web design with experience using Bootstrap or manual coding.
  • Recent web development experience with ASP.Net (Django experience a bonus).
  • Understanding of web application security best practices.
  • Nice to have collaboration experience across distributed project teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively technically and in layman's terms.
  • Must be ambitious and eager to learn new skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and identify ambiguity.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks concurrently.
