Job Title: Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Audit function, you will be responsible for planning and executing audits and financial reviews across the organization.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Active involvement in organizational audits and financial monitoring reviews throughout the year.
  • Planning, sampling, and attending meetings with external auditors to finalize internal audit reports.
  • Preparing annual budgets and audit coverage plans for all engagements.
  • Conducting independent financial reviews of projects supported by the organization, identifying areas of concern, and ensuring proper fund utilization.
  • Guiding teams and providing practical solutions to issues encountered by stakeholders.
  • Streamlining processes and assisting in the rollout of SOPs as required.
  • Rigorous follow-up with stakeholders for submission of data for closure of open audit paras, validating submissions, and formalizing closure with external auditors.
  • Maintaining real-time updated MIS for open audit paras and sharing data with stakeholders regularly.
  • Continuous review of IT applications and systems used across organizations.
  • Interpreting statutory and regulatory changes and assisting in defining policies to be implemented.
  • Preparing reports and presentations for management as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in internal or statutory audit.
  • Experience or knowledge of the social sector.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of statutory and internal audit.
  • In-depth understanding of auditing and accounting standards.
  • Dedication to principles, values, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as required.
