The server edition of Ubuntu is already widely used in connected devices and industrial PCs. Our newer edition of Ubuntu for IoT represents the state-of-the-art in security and resilience for high-end appliances and equipment. We continue to expand our range of offerings to bring our security, management, and developer experience to small Linux environments and devices.

This role requires a unique blend of skills, including proficiency in low-level Linux boot, BIOS, firmware, and embedded software development methodologies. Successful candidates will also be excellent communicators and team players who take pride in their work.

In this position, you'll engage with customers during presales, gather requirements, and explain our technology. You'll participate in project delivery, convey market requirements to stakeholders, and advocate for customers while serving as a trusted advisor to our organization.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Extensive Linux experience, preferably Debian or Ubuntu
  • Solid embedded Linux experience or RTOS knowledge
  • Fluency in at least one programming language (Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust)
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Results-driven, ability to multitask, and strong communication skills
