Job Title: Commercial Contracts Manager

About the Role:

The Contracts Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for managing and overseeing commercial contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions while mitigating risks associated with contract execution.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Contract Management:
    • Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.
    • Ensure all commercial contracts adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Contract Obligations:
    • Monitor and manage commercial contractual obligations to guarantee compliance with terms and conditions.
    • Proactively identify and address potential contract breaches and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    • Maintain a comprehensive database of commercial contractual obligations and track performance against these obligations.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with commercial contract execution.
    • Collaborate closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure commercial contracts include appropriate risk mitigation clauses.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and procurement, to ensure all commercial contractual obligations are understood and met.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Contract Management:
    • Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and management skills.
    • Familiarity with commercial contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.
  • Risk Management:
    • Able to identify and mitigate risks associated with commercial contract execution.
    • Familiarity with risk management principles and practices.
  • Communication:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and procurement.
