Job Overview:

We seek a skilled Treasury professional to oversee end-to-end treasury operations across multiple Renewable Energy projects.

This role focuses on managing daily cash flow, debt servicing, banking activities, letter of credit and guarantee issuance, foreign exchange management, and supporting project finance and investment activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily cash flow across various project Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and optimize fund utilization.
  2. Facilitate the issuance of Capex LCs and manage Buyer's Credit / Supplier's Credit arrangements.
  3. Invest surplus funds in short-term debt mutual funds and fixed deposits.
  4. Ensure timely interest and principal repayments for project loans.
  5. Maintain accurate records of advance and Performance BG received from Vendors/ BG issued to third parties.
  6. Manage Inter Corporate Deposit issuance, Limit monitoring, and documentation.
  7. Ensure treasury accounting entries on a daily basis.
  8. Manage forex hedging activities and related bank documentation.
  9. Liaise with banks on operational matters and maintain strong working relationships.
  10. Submit Treasury-related details, coordinate audits, and respond to audit queries in a timely manner.
  11. Prepare monthly Treasury Management Information System (MIS), including reports on loans, interest payments, short-term investments, and hedging exposures.
  12. Support new project financing activities and loan documentation.
  13. Collaborate with internal teams (Accounts, Projects, Procurement) for efficient treasury operations.

Candidate Profile:

  • MBA (Finance) or Chartered Accountant (CA), with strong academic credentials.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Corporate Treasury in mid to large organizations.
  • Prior experience in Infrastructure / Renewable Energy sector is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, treasury products, and financial instruments.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and banks with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
  • Experience with treasury software and SAP systems is desirable.
