Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Equity-Focused Financial Analyst to drive business growth through insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations.

This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional with strong analytical skills, expertise in financial modeling, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough research, analyzing market trends, and developing actionable investment strategies to support informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial markets, regulations, and industry best practices. They will also have excellent technical skills, including proficiency in financial modeling software and databases such as Probe42, MCA, NSE/BSE/SEBI website.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equity Research & Investment Analysis
    • Conduct comprehensive fundamental analysis using company financials, industry trends, sectoral analysis, and valuation techniques.
    • Develop high-quality initiation and earnings update reports, sector briefs, and investment recommendations that meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • PMS, AIF, and Mutual Fund Oversight
    • Monitor and analyze fund performance, NAV movements, portfolio composition, and manager strategy to identify areas of improvement.
    • Engage with fund managers to gain insights into their investment approaches and maintain regular updates on fund performance.
  • Financial Modeling & Due Diligence
    • Build and maintain robust financial models (DCF, projections) that incorporate complex scenarios and test assumptions to ensure accurate forecasts.
    • Execute thorough financial due diligence for new funds or investment proposals to evaluate their potential for growth and risk.
  • Reporting & Communication
    • Prepare investor-ready presentations, research dashboards, and detailed write-ups that effectively communicate complex data and findings.
    • Deliver clear and concise market commentary and fund performance summaries that meet the needs of investors and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Interaction & Market Monitoring
    • Build and maintain relationships with company management teams, attend industry forums, and synthesize market developments into actionable fund insights.
