Job Title: Senior MEP Project Coordinator

Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing projects within a set scope, timeline, and objectives. They will effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders or team members.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Set project milestones and timelines
  • Monitor project deliverables and progress
  • Update stakeholders on the project progress
  • Coach and support project team members with assigned tasks
  • Proper documentation is essential
  • Lead and manage all MEP activities across projects (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, ELV systems)
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors for seamless integration
  • Ensure compliance with local and international codes and regulations
  • Oversee procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations for MEP services
  • Conduct site inspections and quality audits to ensure adherence to design and safety standards
  • Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders and senior management
  • Implement energy-efficient MEP solutions
  • Manage project documentation and risk mitigation strategies

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 8–10 years of experience in MEP project coordination
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of green building practices and energy codes is a plus
