The Job

We are seeking a skilled Sensor Fusion Engineer to develop and deploy sensor fusion algorithms for our home robot. As a Sensor Fusion Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and deploying sensor fusion methods that improve state estimation by integrating data from various sensors, such as RGB cameras, IR range sensors, and Depth ToF.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and deploying sensor fusion algorithms to improve state estimation by combining data from multiple sensors on edge devices such as Nvidia Jetson or Qualcomm RB5 kits.
  • Collaborating with the data science and hardware teams to identify key metrics, data sources, and sensor calibration parameters for optimal sensor fusion performance.
  • Implementing efficient sensor fusion methods to improve system accuracy and robustness in dynamic environments, while handling sensor noise and environmental variations.
What You Need

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sensor fusion, machine learning, or a related field, with a focus on improving state estimation.
  • Hands-on experience working with RGB cameras, IR range sensors, Depth ToF sensors, and edge devices like Nvidia Jetson or Qualcomm RB5.
