You'll be part of our Robotics team and collaborate closely with our global team as we build our autonomous robot platform. Responsibilities Implementing learning based approaches for robot manipulation. Explore cutting edge algorithms, models, and techniques and implement them in our systems/codebase. Improve motion planning tasks: Design and test out new approaches for manipulation with focus on understanding the environment better. Contribute to ROS2-based integrations: Collaborate with the team to integrate software components using ROS2. Assist in maintaining and updating code to meet system requirements and improve overall reliability. Assist in sensor integration: Work with sensors, such as cameras and basic perception systems, to help the robot understand its surroundings. Participate in testing and debugging: Conduct hands-on testing of robots, identify issues, and collaborate on solutions. Help optimize performance. Grow and learn: Demonstrate curiosity and an eagerness to expand your skill set. Background/Skills Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Experience with learning based approaches for Robotic manipulation . Background in the mathematical understanding of autonomous robotic systems and familiarity with Kinematics, dynamics, path planning algorithms, finite state machines, optimization-based methods, and linear algebra. Proficient in modern software development and familiarity with C++, Python, ROS2, Github/Gitlab, Docker, Linux ecosystem, etc. Hands-on experience with robotic platforms and frameworks, such as Moveit2, ROS2, Gazebo . Knowledge of software and hardware testing and validation methodologies Ability to function independently and as part of a team when needed. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary team.
