Job Title:

Chief Data Compliance Officer

Job Summary:

We seek a seasoned IT Governance expert to lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of IT policies, procedures, and controls that ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage IT governance frameworks and operations in alignment with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 standards.
  • Establish and maintain effective policy development, compliance tracking, and IT service management continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee risk assessments, audit readiness activities, and regulatory reporting to ensure organizational goals are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive IT process improvements and align governance strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance on governance best practices, control mechanisms, and compliance frameworks to stakeholders.
  • Prepare governance documentation, dashboards, and reports for senior management and risk committees.

Responsibilities include leading IT governance frameworks, developing IT policies and procedures, overseeing compliance and risk management initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing guidance on governance best practices, and preparing governance documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, ITSM, Compliance, or Risk Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 frameworks.
  • Proven track record of policy development, audit readiness, and governance program execution.
  • Excellent understanding of IT risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as COBIT, ITIL Expert, ISO 20000, CISA, or CGEIT are highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, strong knowledge and hands-on experience with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 frameworks, a proven track record of policy development, audit readiness, and governance program execution, excellent understanding of IT risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit processes, strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, and relevant certifications.
