About the Role

The Software Deployment Manager oversees the maintenance, quality, and security of the Viya 3.5 platform in our Pune R&D Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We're seeking a skilled professional to plan and manage the development of the Viya 3.5 platform solutions.
  • This role involves mentoring associate engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Leading development project designs and enforcing technical standards are crucial aspects of this position.
  • You'll be responsible for managing project scoping and scheduling, tracking progress, and alerting management of concerns.
  • Our ideal candidate will ensure comprehensive and thorough functional, unit, and performance testing.
  • Technical leadership through mentoring, training, and team management is essential for success in this role.
  • You'll oversee all departmental activities, including teamwork, performance management, and employee growth.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in software development, quality management, release/deployment/devOps areas.
  • At least 7 years of experience in software development, with at least one year of project lead, supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies is necessary.
  • Knowledge of software development processes and Quality Standards is essential.
