Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Release Engineer to join our DevOps/Release squad responsible for a suite of Security Services Platforms built in Java.

In this role, you will manage and execute the scheduled release cycles, deployments, and performance testing across various environments, including AWS, Azure, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).

  • Manage and execute the scheduled release cycles, deployments, and performance testing across various environments.
  • Develop and optimize automated deployment pipelines to improve the speed and reliability of deployments.
  • Manage and execute platform upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transition across all environments.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in release engineering, with a focus on Java-based platforms.
  • Proven experience in deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and on-premise VMs, with experience in PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) a plus.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Chef Habitat) and version control systems (Git).
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of performance testing, monitoring, and scaling of Java applications.
  • Experience in process automation and scripting (e.g., Shell, Python, or similar languages).
  • Familiarity with security practices and deployment of security services platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and manage time effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
