Retail Store Leadership Opportunity

As a seasoned retail professional, you will oversee daily store operations, drive sales performance, manage inventory, and maintain a unique brand experience. Key responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS systems management, and visual merchandising to reflect the luxury ethnic wear identity.

  1. Drive sales revenue through effective stock management, customer engagement, and seasonal campaigns.
  2. Develop strong relationships with customers by providing personalized styling guidance for sarees, blouses, and accessories.
  3. Handle customer queries, ensure smooth exchange/return processes, and promote membership programs.
  1. Lead and develop sales staff, stylists, and support personnel through training and supervision.
  2. Monitor team performance, set targets, and facilitate regular meetings to motivate the team to deliver exceptional shopping experiences.
  3. Oversee stock movement, replenishment, tagging, and barcoding to maintain accurate records and minimize stock loss.
  1. Execute in-store events such as festive saree showcases, draping workshops, and wedding collection previews.
  2. Coordinate marketing activities, influencer visits, live streaming, and customer engagement initiatives.
  3. Prepare daily/weekly sales and footfall reports to ensure compliance with billing, GST, and company policies.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Bengali, and Hindi.
  • Knowledge of ethnic wear fabrics, draping styles, and customer preferences.
  • Ability to work in high-footfall seasons (Durga Puja, weddings, festivals).
  • Proficiency in billing software, POS systems, and MS Office.

Bachelor's degree in Retail, Fashion Management, or Business is preferred. Experience in apparel/ethnic retail management, achieving sales targets, and leading retail teams is essential.
