Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Marketing Business Analyst to join our team. As a Strategic Marketing Business Analyst, you will be responsible for defining and building organizational and analytical processes that drive strategic marketing for our APAC organization.


Your Key Responsibilities



  • Customer and Market Insights

Track macro-economic indicators, derive insights from macro data, and publish the insights to APAC & SSA countries for business planning.


Work with the strategic marketing team to identify business needs, challenges, and opportunities. Ensure the analysis is presented in a meaningful and comprehensive way.



Business and Strategic Planning

Maintain a clear and complete understanding of business strategy pillars, business operations, and processes.


Engage with multiple stakeholders across functional areas to identify business needs and value creation opportunities.



Market Assessment, Research, and Strategic Insights

Raise the bar on the use of tools and insight studies to evaluate existing markets in new ways and understand new markets better.


Work with internal and external experts to build a base for value creation projects & programs.



Programs and Initiatives

Perform business analysis and reporting for assigned projects, reviews, and presentations.


Contribute to cross-functional projects, including market evaluation, resource planning, problem-solving, operational planning, and execution.



Marketing Program Management

Determine dashboards, analysis, and data requirements and deliver on them with defined frequency for future business planning & problem-solving.


Collaborate with other internal functions to drive joint efforts.



Qualifications



  • You have a minimum undergraduate degree in economics, finance, or engineering. An MBA is an added advantage.
  • Experience in Market Intelligence, market research, and business planning.
  • Consulting experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Strategic thinking and innovation mindset, and an ability to read future market trends and needs.
  • You demonstrate strong teamwork and relationship-building skills. Experience in working with cross-functional teams and across geographical boundaries is a plus.
  • Experience in key growth enablers such as innovation, sustainability, and digitalization is a plus.
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and ambitious team and work environment and are good at multitasking.
  • You can create value out of new and unstructured ideas, in collaboration with multiple departments/business units.
  • You have solid experience working in a multinational culture in a matrix structure.
  • Your proficiency in leveraging technology and in using Excel sheets, presentations, whitepapers, and working with business analysis and reporting software.
