Procurement Manager Job Summary

A Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement process, from sourcing to contract management. They develop and execute sourcing strategies to deliver cost savings and value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes for indirect categories (e.g., IT, office supplies, consulting services, facilities, HR, marketing).
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to deliver cost savings and value.
  • Lead RFPs, RFQs, and supplier selection processes.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, service, or delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize supplier base and reduce procurement risk.
  • Collaborate with finance and legal teams on budget alignment and contract terms.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, experience with procurement software and tools, knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
