CNC Machinist Programmer Position

Job Title: CNC Machinist Programmer

We are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented CNC Machinist Programmer to join our programming team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and testing CNC programs for various machines and manufacturing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write, and test efficient CNC programs for coding and designing purposes.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies to achieve optimal results.
  • Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and refine processes, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Perform first-article inspections and provide technical expertise to support production.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and program archives to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer, preferably with CAM software proficiency.
  • Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC machine operations.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as Alphacam, Fusion 360, Solidworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
