The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tooling across various projects, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. They will identify and evaluate the need for tooling, broken down into study, manufacturing, and maintenance categories.
Key responsibilities include analyzing tooling requests, proposing solutions, and writing functional specifications. The candidate will also participate in RFQ analysis, contribute to business awards, and perform design reviews involving stakeholders.
Additionally, they will validate manufactured tooling, train manufacturing teams, and follow up on implementation and first use.
They will also specify inspection operations, handling, and maintenance instructions, write periodic inspection sheets, and contribute to continuous improvement actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Technical Education, specializing in Mechanics or Automation
- Excellent English language skills
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, or Plant Maintenance, preferably in the railway industry.
Technical experience in Process & Manufacturing Engineering, good practice of CAD and PLM tools, and working knowledge of Quality, EHS standards, and Ergonomics are essential.
