Product Development Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Associate to support our product development team in Mumbai. The successful candidate will provide timely IP inputs to relevant stakeholders and conduct due diligence activities to identify new product opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support product development by providing timely IP inputs to RA, R&D, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide insights on patent litigation and opposition to align with product strategy.
  • Undertake due diligence of products to apprise stakeholders about key patent rights.
  • Identify new product opportunities for driving portfolio selection.
  • Conduct patent search to determine patentable inventions and file/prosecute patent applications.
  • Lead due diligence activity for products of interest to apprise stakeholders about the value proposition.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) or Masters of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) degree.
  • Diploma in Intellectual Property Law is preferred.
  • 8 years of relevant experience for B. Pharm or 6 years for M. Pharm.

Desirable Skills:

  • Relevant techno-legal experience in regulated markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of Patent laws in India, US, and Europe.
  • Acumen for Paragraph IV filings in USA.
