Test Automation Engineer - Quality Assurance

 

We are seeking a skilled automation engineer to lead our test automation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automating web applications using ACCELQ Cloud and a strong background in software testing, functional testing, and implementation of CI/CD-based automation frameworks.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop, and Maintain Automated Test Cases: Utilize ACCELQ (Cloud version) to create automated test cases for web applications, ensuring high reusability and maintainability.
  • Execute Automated and Manual Tests: Conduct thorough testing to ensure application quality across functional, regression, and integration levels.
  • Collaborate with Developers and Stakeholders: Work closely with developers, BAs, and product owners to understand requirements and create test scenarios.
  • Integrate Automation Test Suites: Seamlessly integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Provide Test Coverage Reports: Deliver detailed reports on test coverage, defect analysis, and root cause investigations.
  • Ensure Automation Best Practices: Contribute to QA strategy for continuous improvement and adherence to automation best practices.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Experience in ACCELQ Web (Cloud): Hands-on experience in automating web applications using ACCELQ Cloud.
  • Solid Knowledge of Automation Frameworks: Deep understanding of automation frameworks and test design principles.
  • Agile Methodologies and DevOps: Good grasp of Agile methodologies and DevOps environments.
  • Functional, Regression, and Integration Testing: Extensive experience in functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • API Automation (Nice to Have): Familiarity with APIs and ability to automate using ACCELQ.
  • Familiarity with Tools: Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
