We are seeking a talented Technical Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

This role will involve providing technical support and maintenance for our IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network systems.

You will work closely with our Infrastructure Leads, peers, and other teams to build and maintain effective relationships, ensuring seamless service provision and prompt resolution of incidents and problems.

  • Key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing point-of-escalation support for daily operational issues for IT Infrastructure
  • Oversight of operational tasks and maintenance of proper documentation
  • Close collaboration with the business for changes or requests for new services
  • Support in solving incidents, service requests, and problems
  • Execution of incident and problem resolution
  • Involvement in changes and release of adherent communication
  • Ensuring continuity in service provision and restoration of required service in case of disruption
  • Management of third-party vendors for incident management through to resolution
  • Checking technical conditions of IT equipment and landscape
  • Building and provisioning IT hardware (servers, storage etc.)
  • Maintenance and update of systems periodically as required by vendors, compliance, or lifecycle management
  • Monitoring and reporting on system performance and taking corrective action when necessary
  • Providing ad-hoc reporting
  • Support with internal office moves, if required
  • Keeping up-to-date documentation and tasks for audit purposes
  • Active participation in IT Infrastructure-related projects, when needed
  • Acting as 1st line support on the Infra team and establishing good relationships with members of 2nd and 3rd line support groups
  • Active information and knowledge sharing within the team
  • Working towards acquiring understanding of Vistra procedures and of our technical landscape that would allow driving customer issues to resolution in a timely and efficient manner
  • Understanding and complying with Vistra Information security & Compliancy Framework and guidelines
  • Continuing to expand customer service repertoire and continuing to explore customer-facing best practices
  • Following acquisitions, assisting when necessary, the project team with the integration of new systems
  • Seeking continuous improvement in services delivered
