Role Summary:

Leverage your expertise in Linux systems administration to ensure high availability, performance, and security of critical banking infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2-level support for Linux in a mission-critical banking environment, ensuring seamless operations and minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement ITIL processes (Incident/Change/Problem/Knowledge) and maintain compliance with PCI DSS, SWIFT, and local banking regulator requirements.
  • Operate under IT service management frameworks to identify and troubleshoot complex incidents, manage approved platform changes, and conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and clear communication strategies to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning drills to ensure the highest level of preparedness.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in Linux systems administration (L2), 10+ years (L3)
  • Proven expertise in Linux Virtual, RHEL, CentOS, Debian GNU, FreeBSD, and Ubuntu operating systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
