Job Title: Linux System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux System Administrator to fill this challenging role.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Red Hat OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cluster Management: Install, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters to meet business requirements.
  • Perform regular upgrades and patching of OCP environments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery of OCP clusters by implementing robust strategies.
  • Manage access controls and authentication mechanisms to maintain security standards.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks and deployments to increase efficiency.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of the OCP environment and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations with a strong focus on Linux administration.
  • 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), with a deep understanding of system configuration and optimization.
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker to enhance cloud-based services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Understanding of network configurations, load balancing, and firewall management to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
