Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex data models, creating interactive dashboards and reports, and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our clients' data.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on varied projects and contribute directly to client success from day one. You will have the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and diverse client projects, and collaborate directly with our founder on strategic initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain robust LookML models to create a single source of truth for our clients' data.
  • Design and develop interactive Looker dashboards and reports that meet client requirements and business objectives.
  • Connect to various data sources (e.g., BigQuery, Azure SQL, APIs) and define relationships and data transformations within LookML.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize LookML code and Looker queries for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You should have:

  • Strong Proficiency in SQL (BigQuery, Azure SQL, or other relational databases)
  • A solid understanding of data modeling principles and experience with various data sources
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to self-manage tasks effectively
  • 0.5–3 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying solutions with Looker and LookML
