Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team.

This role will be responsible for managing production scheduling, monitoring, reporting and MIS.

Responsibilities include productivity improvements, preparing process parameters, manpower allocation and people development, ensuring adherence to quality systems, maintaining 5S and safety, preparation of monthly performance objectives, managing secondary operations, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance of molding machines, troubleshooting molding issues and implementing corrective actions, training a team and mentoring them towards optimum productivity, analyzing customer complaints, in-process rejections and implementing corrective actions, fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement, hands-on experience in running injection molding machines and accessories, capable of new tool trials for plastic parts, capable of different types of plastic material processing, reconciliation on RM/WIP stocks at month-end, knowledge of personal protective equipment while working, informing near miss incidents immediately, ensuring minimum environmental impact in the process being carried out by using controls on the machine/equipment as per daily check sheet, regular monitoring and measuring energy performance, prevention of pollution, energy reduction, reducing depletion of natural resources and maintaining safe working environment in the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 12 years of experience in production function of engineering industry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Technical knowledge of molding processes and materials
• People development and teamwork skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of APQP related documentation and PPAP, FMEA and control plan
• Knowledge of SAP
• Knowledge of DOE for molding process
• Knowledge of molding machine specifications and selection for required product
