Job Title: Engineering Director

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Engineering Director to lead our engineering teams in building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend technologies, software architecture design, and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Technical Leadership: Assist in technical implementations, troubleshoot issues, and contribute as a hands-on developer when required.
  • Lead Development Teams: Oversee development teams, ensuring best practices and technical guidance are followed.
  • Mentor Developers: Conduct training sessions, mentor developers on technical best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
  • Ensure Technical Excellence: Conduct code reviews, ensure coding standards and design principles are followed, and promote technical excellence throughout the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working with multiple backend technologies.
  • Hands-on expertise in at least two of the following tech stacks: Nodejs OR MEAN, Reactjs OR MERN, or Python.
  • Strong experience in designing and developing robust, scalable, and high-performance applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with design patterns and best software architecture practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL and API design best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
