Service Management Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Service Management Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

  • Provide level 2 and level 3 support for Service Management in a mission-critical banking environment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including PCI DSS, SWIFT, and local banking requirements.
  • Operate under ITIL processes, including incident, change, problem, and knowledge management.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, manage approved changes, and participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning drills.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Tune configurations and schedule jobs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Coordinate vendor technical assistance cases, firmware/patch planning, and validate post-change health.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, runbook hygiene, and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate ownership mindset and readiness for 24x7 support and on-call rotation.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of service management principles and practices.
  • Experience with ITIL processes and tools.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
