Business Intelligence Analyst Role

As a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by analyzing complex processes and translating requirements into robust technical designs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyzing current technical systems, business processes, data flows, and operational models to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Gathering, documenting, and translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and functional designs.
  • Collaborating closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with business needs and requirements.
  • Leveraging process mapping, data modeling, wireframing, and other analysis techniques to propose innovative solutions.
  • Conducting research into industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to develop optimal solution designs.
  • Creating detailed technical documentation, process flows, data requirements, user stories, and other artifacts.
  • Tracking and tracing action items and clearing blockers.
  • Developing test scenarios, and test cases, and supporting user acceptance testing activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst with technical product implementation.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and translate requirements into robust technical designs.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and common development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to create clear documentation, process flows, wireframes, and other required artifacts.
  • Experience with requirements management and defect tracking tools.

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. You will work closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with business needs and requirements.
