Reliable Software Architect for Airline Industry

Your Responsibilities in This Role:- New development, enhancements, and support for new and existing systems and applications, including proprietary communications hub software, with an emphasis on ensuring 100% availability.
- Analysis of large volumes of data into and out of multiple internal systems and partner connections, utilizing your technical skillsets to drive business growth.
- Comprehension and design of detailed technical documentation to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Ability to understand the big picture and come up with scalable solutions that solve current problems and are adaptable for future growth.
- Collaborating with software developers, engineers, and operations teams across other product stacks across Delta Air Lines, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Monitoring sites and software to ensure they perform properly, including on-call shifts, with a strong focus on maintaining high-quality services.
- Anticipating potential problems before they occur and coming up with proactive solutions to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Conducting post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Documenting your work (Knowledge Articles, Wikis and Runbooks) to turn findings into repeatable actions, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Managing stakeholders effectively to ensure timely communication and resolution of issues.
- Quality Assurance including Supporting Testing, Test Tools, Test Environments, with a focus on delivering high-quality products that meet business requirements.
- Capacity and Performance Management to ensure optimal system performance and scalability.
- Quickly responding to incident alerts and support calls, identifying and coordinating with critical teams to resolve events efficiently.
- Building and supporting a reliable application suite for the environment to meet the development and maintenance requirements of systems/platforms, driving business growth through innovative solutions.
- Working/partnering as part of the development team to evaluate the health, stability, and reliability of systems/applications, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Creating and Utilizing monitoring, alerts, dashboards, and management tools to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of systems/applications and services.
- Constantly working to improve and implement automation of systems/applications tasks, reducing manual efforts and enhancing productivity.
- Providing technical support for systems/applications according to application SLAs, ensuring high-quality services and timely resolution of issues.
This role requires strong technical skillsets, including expertise in C++, Java, Python, Windows scripting, and Linux environments. In addition, excellent soft skills such as collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and adaptability are essential for success in this position.
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, to attract top talent and drive business growth.
