Senior Medical Content Specialist

Job Description:

Cultivate and elevate medical content to drive scientific understanding and real-world impact across healthcare stakeholders.

Transform complex data into actionable insights by developing high-quality scientific, medical, and educational materials, including MSL/training slide decks, infographics, congress and meetings materials, literature searches and reviews, standard response letters/medical information letters, and HCP engagement content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth, scientifically accurate content for diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and precision in complex concepts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to advance content strategies and visual storytelling.
  • Mentor junior writers to refine their skills in medical communication and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Review and revise deliverables from junior writers, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Attend workshops and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in digital content development and scientific communication.

Requirements:

  • PhD/MD in medicine, life sciences, health sciences, pharmacy, pharmacology; MPharm/MSc. with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • 7-10 years of experience in writing and reviewing Scientific/Medical Communications for Medical Affairs or biopharma, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, concise language.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present scientific data effectively.
  • Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
