Job Description

Purpose: The Transport Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school transport system. This involves planning and optimizing bus routes to enhance efficiency and reduce travel time, as well as ensuring the safety and compliance of all transportation activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and optimize bus routes to enhance efficiency and reduce travel time

  • Monitor and manage the maintenance of the school vehicle fleet to ensure safety and compliance

  • Coordinate and supervise a team of drivers and support staff

  • Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff regarding transport schedules and any changes

  • Maintain records and documentation related to transportation activities to comply with regulatory standards
    \
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and drills to ensure the safety and security of student passengers
