The Road Transportation Manager will be responsible for overseeing all road transportation activities across PAN India. They will serve as the primary point of contact for all road transportation inquiries and will manage end-to-end transportation operations for the west region, including EXIM logistics, inland, and cold chain transportation. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of effectively handling various types of shipments, including LTL, FTL, ODC cargo, and temperature-controlled cargo. Additionally, they will be responsible for deploying transportation management systems (TMS) within India and ensuring their efficient usage by guiding users. Vendor management will be a key aspect of the role, including the development of new vendor partnerships to meet project requirements. The Road Transportation Manager will also play a crucial role in designing process flows for road transportation TMS by providing valuable inputs to the IT development team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the single point of contact for all road transportation enquiries across PAN India.

2. Manage end-to-end road transportation for the west region, including EXIM logistics, inland, and cold chain transportation.

3. Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully handling various shipments, such as LTL, FTL, ODC cargo, and temperature-controlled cargo.

4. Deploy transportation management systems (TMS) within India and ensure effective usage by guiding users.

5. Manage vendor relationships and develop new vendor partnerships as per project requirements. 6. Collaborate with the IT development team to design process flows for road transportation TMS by providing valuable inputs.
