Senior Financial Accountant Job Description

This senior financial accountant position is responsible for coordinating with vendors regarding payments, refunds, and vendor reconciliations.

Key responsibilities include updating the supplier reconciliation portal, coordinating with clients to obtain missing vendor bills and approvals, and reviewing weekly AP reports, vendor payments, and allocations in books.

The senior financial accountant will also review vendor reconciliations done by junior accountants, chase W9 forms from vendors, and prepare 1099 workings.

Additional duties include reconciling tax returns, reviewing sales entries, and preparing CRT/TPT/8027 and other county tax returns.

As a senior financial accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring internal processes and systems are adhered to, responding to emails in a timely manner, and delivering AP reports to clients on time.

You will also deliver internal month-end closing deadlines, train new team members, and mentor associates in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities
