About DS/AI Competency Center

The DS/AI Competency Center focuses on leveraging data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to extract insights, build predictive models, and develop AI-powered solutions. We utilize Exploratory Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling and Machine Learning, Model Deployment, and Integration as well as Model Monitoring and Maintenance. Our goal is to deliver business solutions using multiple AI techniques and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run end-to-end initiatives (Business understanding, Data understanding/preparation, Modeling, Evaluation and Deployment)
  • Analyze and interpret findings
  • Drawing conclusions and recommendations, including expected benefits and measuring ROI for enhancing business processes
  • Support pre-sales activities and initiatives
Required Skills and QualificationsMust Have:
  • Familiarity with theory behind various machine learning concepts
  • Experience with Machine Learning (ML), especially in the area of Generative AI (LLM/LMM) with focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) or multi-modal models
  • Experience with business requirements gathering, transforming them into technical plans, data processing, feature engineering, model evaluation, hypothesis testing, and model deployment
  • Fluency in Python, working knowledge of SQL, and vector databases
  • Knowledge of specific DS/ML/CVGenAI/NLP libraries like NumPy, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain, and GenAI APIs i.e. OpenAI/Gemini
Nice To Have:
  • Experience working with big data and distributed environments
  • Commercial experience proven by multiple successful projects in the area of Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, or Computer Vision
General:
  • Good computer programming skills and familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
  • Expertise in Azure cloud resources, Databricks
  • Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to come up with creative solutions to address customer problems
  • Ability to lead small technical teams on projects
