Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to lead our team of quality professionals. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in testing web and windows-based applications, with expertise in performance testing, test case creation, and process management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manual testing - develop and execute test cases, track issues and implement solutions
  • Document and manage test history, case histories, issues, and actionable steps taken, and implementation and post-implementation support
  • Design and develop tools for test management, execution, and reporting to enhance the overall software testing process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Test products for functional, look and feel of the GUI, and performance
  • Closing loop with developers to report and troubleshoot issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in testing web and windows-based applications
  • Hands-on experience in performance testing
  • Creating test cases, test sets, and test executions for web and windows-based applications
  • Performing ad-hoc testing, smoke testing, data-driven testing, cross-browser testing
  • Release acceptance, functional, integration, system level, and regression testing
  • Testing various builds and patches
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
