Job Title

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a Transaction Monitoring Analyst. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the firm's compliance with anti-money laundering regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for screening individuals and entities against global sanction lists issued by OFAC, EU, UN, and other international and government agencies.
  • You will review high-risk scenarios and identify potential sanctions screening matches, reviewing false positives to minimize errors.
  • Conduct complex research and investigations to confirm potential matches, analyzing business logic rules that govern automated systems.
  • Release or escalate potential matches accordingly, documenting all alerts within the case management system.
  • You will collaborate with colleagues to enhance AML Investigation process flows.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under minimum supervision. Proficiency in MS Office is required, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Requirements:
  • You should have experience in compliance or related positions, with familiarity with internal systems and processes.
  • You should have exceptional research and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and develop well-reasoned recommendations.
  • You should have strong documentation skills, adherence to controls and standards, and proficiency in MS Office.

Additional Information: You will be collaborating with leadership to deliver client engagements, supporting team members in day-to-day client management and project management.
