Internal Audit Leader

The Internal Audit Leader will spearhead independent audits across multiple business and compliance domains. This role demands a strong analytical mindset, sound business acumen, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to enhance governance frameworks.

About the Role

The Internal Audit Leader is responsible for designing and executing risk-based audit plans that cover business processes, operations, IT systems, and governance. The ideal candidate will possess a keen analytical mind, be able to leverage data analytics and business insights to identify trends, anomalies, and emerging risks, and provide actionable recommendations to management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute risk-based audit plans to ensure depth, relevance, and actionable outcomes
  • Lead end-to-end audits independently, focusing on assurance and compliance
  • Provide assurance on management's adherence to RBI guidelines and internal policies
  • Review the adequacy of controls across the customer lifecycle, operations, technology, and vendor/outsourced processes
Qualifications and Experience
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in auditing
  • Sound business judgment and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
  • Experience in risk-based audit planning and execution
  • Ability to leverage data analytics and business insights to drive informed decision-making
