Software Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the software works seamlessly. You will work on various systems including restaurant and food-tech systems like POS machines, digital kiosks, mobile apps, and integrations with payment or delivery partners.
This is a full-time position that requires 3-5 years of experience in Software Testing / QA. In this role, you will be responsible for clearly understanding requirements, raising questions if anything is missing, and keeping track of queries and updates so the team always has clarity.
You will create test cases and scenarios to cover all possible situations, prepare and manage test data, perform manual and automation testing, and report bugs. You will also work closely with developers and product managers to ensure everything meets the acceptance criteria.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and can handle ownership of tasks. You should have strong knowledge of mobile app testing, API testing experience, and automation testing. Familiarity with QA tools like JIRA, Zephyr, QC, TestLink is a must. ISTQB certification is a bonus.
If you have previous experience in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or Retail systems, that's a significant advantage. - Prepare and manage test data (POS setups, menu, kiosk flows, integrations).
- Perform manual and automation testing – including system, integration, and regression testing.
- Test APIs, POS systems, kiosks, and menu modules.
- Report bugs, track them, and follow through until resolved.
- Join daily calls/meetings with onsite teams to discuss issues and updates.
- Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure everything meets the acceptance criteria.
