Job Title: Enterprise Risk Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our risk management function and drive strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Risk Leadership:
    • Develop and implement the enterprise-wide risk management framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Lead the development of the organization's Risk Appetite Framework in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with regulatory bodies on all risk-related matters, staying up-to-date on evolving regulations.
  • Credit Risk:
    • Oversee credit policy, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring lifecycle, ensuring strong early warning systems and portfolio quality checks.
    • Establish differentiated credit frameworks for retail, SME, and secured lending verticals, promoting prudent lending practices.
  • Operational Risk:
    • Build comprehensive operational risk management framework covering business continuity, fraud control, and cyber risk, driving control automation and audit readiness.
    • Supervise ALM, interest rate risk, and market exposure assessment and management, ensuring robust liquidity and capital management.
  • Market & Liquidity Risk:
    • Partner with Treasury and Finance to ensure prudent liquidity and capital management, aligning with business objectives.
    • Stay up-to-date on RBI guidelines and scale-based regulations, ensuring compliance and adaptability.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Governance:
    • Ensure compliance with risk-related regulatory reporting and board disclosures, presenting risk dashboards and updates to stakeholders.
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing risk team, promoting a risk-aware culture across the enterprise.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Leadership experience in risk management at a large-scale financial institution.
  • Proven leadership in managing credit and operational risk at scale, driving strategic growth.
  • Deep understanding of the Indian financial regulatory landscape, staying up-to-date on evolving regulations.
  • Strong experience in working with Risk Committees and Boards, ensuring effective communication and governance.
