Job Description

This key role drives strategic analysis and design activities to deliver impactful SAP solutions for business projects. As a renowned expert in the SAP functional area, you will provide insightful advice and technical support to client IT teams, ensuring adherence to SAP standards and guidelines.

  • Understand complex business requirements and identify SAP impacts and required system changes to drive business transformation.
  • Document system processes through comprehensive diagramming.
  • Configure SAP systems in the required functional area.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications to explain required system changes with sufficient detail for ABAP programmers to develop from.
  • Perform thorough functional unit testing of ABAP changes or configuration changes.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver SAP solutions, including test teams, support teams, integration teams, and other SAP functional teams.
  • Implement system changes to production environments.
  • Provide warranty support for implemented changes.

The ideal candidate should possess significant SAP functional experience in one of the required SAP modules for the relevant SAP domain: ERP Core (SAP ECC, SAP HANA), Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM), Retail & Commerce (SAP CAR, Vistex, F&R), Data & Analytics (BW, Business Objects), Cross-Functional & Governance (GRC, Fiori), Human Capital Management (HCM).

Key skills include being a diligent problem solver, having a questioning mindset, ability to explain complex IT concepts in clear business language, ownership to drive and deliver results, ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders, commercial acumen, and ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities.
