Marketing Strategy Manager

Job Description:

  • Working closely with our Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for managing marketing strategies and media investments to build brand equity, awareness, and sales of new products.
  • Define longer term strategic vision using a consumer-first mindset by identifying/assessing portfolio risks, setting strategies in the annual and long range planning process.
  • Support new product innovation launches from ideation to launch across business case, product development, claims/positioning, costing, packaging development, sales strategy, and marketing activation.
  • Lead integrated marketing strategy and execution including creative campaign development, digital marketing, email, PR and social media in partnership with external agencies/partners.
  • Develop agency briefs and project timelines to execute key initiatives in support of brand strategies.
  • Own and lead packaging renovation and development of existing products and new innovation in collaboration with creative partners and agencies.
  • Identify consumer trends to be leveraged in new products and line extensions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and external agencies to execute against all elements of the business plan.
  • Build breakthrough communications that will build brand equity and drive long-term growth for the business.
  • Manage end-to-end creative strategy- and ensure alignment with your understanding of the consumer and culture.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess 5+ years of marketing experience in the FMCG sector with expertise in brand building and innovation.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and demonstrated ability to lead and execute projects with little oversight.
  • Able to execute on today's challenges while maintaining a forward-thinking mindset around where we'll be six months, a year, and several years from now.
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated understanding of the financial aspects of marketing.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, project management, and execution skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with exceptional team-building skills.
  • Passionate about work; care deeply about creating a sustainable food system.
