Lead Enterprise Risk Strategist

This role entails developing and articulating comprehensive risk strategy pillars for the current financial year, aligned with a clear multi-year roadmap. The successful candidate will work closely with senior executives to drive strategic initiatives from conception to successful completion in fast-paced environments.

  • Strategic Vision & Planning: Drive the creation of risk management strategies that align with broader business objectives and market trends.
  • Thought Leadership Development: Establish the organization as a recognized industry leader in risk management through compelling narratives, frameworks, and strategic insights.
  • Content Management: Develop and oversee a content management framework covering high-quality thought leadership content, centralized repositories, and delivery across digital platforms.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage diverse stakeholders to develop valuable insights, transforming complex subject matter into consumable content driving strategic impact.
  • Market Mapping: Develop strategic plans and themes for industry events, conferences, webinars, and client roundtables showcasing risk capabilities and driving meaningful dialogue.
  • Objectives and Key Results (OKR) Management: Drive OKRs for Regional Risk Officers, ensuring consistent cascading throughout the CEMEA Risk Organization.

Key Qualifications:

  • Core Strategy & Experience Requirements: 12+ years of hands-on strategy development experience at top-tier management consulting firms or equivalent roles.
  • Educational Foundation: Advanced degree from a top-tier institution with strong analytical and quantitative foundation.
  • Industry Experience: Deep experience in financial services is required; payments industry experience is advantageous.
