Job Title: Digital Content Creation Specialist

This role is responsible for overseeing the rendering workflow across multiple digital content creation applications, including Maya, Blender, Houdini, and 3ds Max.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of rendering pipelines, shading, lighting, and AOV/pass setup. They will work closely with supervisors, lighters, and compositors to deliver high-quality frames.

The specialist will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting the rendering workflow to ensure efficient and high-quality renders. They will also collaborate cross-departmentally to maintain rendering performance and resolve technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rendering Workflow Management
  • Pipeline & Troubleshooting Support
  • Coordinate effectively with the client team to ensure renders meet production quality and deadlines.
  • Create and support tools, scripts, and automation to improve and fasten rendering efficiency.
  • Integrate new render engines and plugins into the production pipeline based on industry standards.
  • Maintain and integrate with render farm application manager.
  • Identify and resolve rendering issues such as high read time of shots, crashes, and memory issues.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Maya, Blender, Houdini, 3ds Max. Proficiency with render engines like Arnold, V-Ray, Redshift, RenderMan, Cycles, Karma and plugins like Yeti, XGen, Golaem.
  • Strong understanding of rendering pipelines, shading, lighting, and AOV/pass setup. Experience with render farm management (Deadline, Muster, Tractor, or equivalent). Proficiency in Python scripting and familiarity with MEL, MAXScript, HScript for tool development.
  • Other Requirements: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex render issues. Understanding of Linux/Windows environments for render farm and pipeline operations.
