We are seeking a highly organized and analytical professional to join our team as a Staff Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions including preparation of annual financial statements and coordinating with external auditors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks
  • Prepare annual financial statements
  • Coordinate with external auditors
  • Conduct monthly analytical reviews detailing financial results and business metrics
  • Maintain data feeds from internal systems and electronic external bank information
  • Prepare month-end account reconciliations
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with multitasking capabilities. A good understanding of technology automation is also desirable. Prior experience with Oracle Financials is a plus. Additionally, the candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervision.

Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant designation or on track to achieve it
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of technology automation
  • Ability to specify programming requirements
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Prior experience with Oracle Financials
